Ecoglo’s self-charging LED exit sign replaces batteries with our highly efficient Energy Caching Panel and next generation electronics to produce a truly sustainable, durable and cost-effective unit equipment product.
To find out more come to our booth at at NFPA Las Vegas, June 19-21 or you can see a short video here:
The costs of battery replacement and their disposal continue to be issues. With emergency exit signs the batteries can now be disposed of forever!
Batteries in emergency exit signs have now been superceded by Ecoglo’s Self-charging LED Exit Sign which combines innovative electronics with ECP energy storage. This means no more battery failures and no battery disposal issues.
Come and see the next generation in exit signs at NFPA Las Vegas, June 19-21, we’re at booth #212
Ecoglo’s next generation self-charging exit sign will be on display at the NFPA Expo in Las Vegas, June 19-21. If you’re attending come and see us at booth #212, it would be great to get your input.
I know a lot of time and effort has gone into achieving Net Zero Carbon for Ecoglo International. Well done Team!
Ecoglo launched its self-charging LED exit sign to the New Zealand and Australian markets in 2019.
We’re now working on bringing the same technology to the US market. We want as much input as we can get so that we can deliver a product that makes facilities operations safer, more cost-effective, and more sustainable.
Take a look at our video and let us know what you think.
Ecoglo’s G6-003 step edging is the go-to solution for emergency visibility in stairways in New York City commercial high-rise buildings.
Now available from Ecoglo Philippines the G6-003 will speed up evacuation times and combat smoke by increasing the visibility of the step edges.
This Ecoglo solution will add resilience to your facility and increase preparedness for fire, earthquakes and brown outs.
The solution is fail-safe if generators don’t start because of an earthquake jolt or if batteries are low or failing.
Ecoglo’s G6-003 step edging is very cost-effective and is tested to UL 1994 (visibility), UL 410 (anti-slip) and UL 746C (UV durability).
The G6-003 can be integrated into a full IFC/NFPA floor proximity solution which is particularly effective for providing emergency visibility in smoke filled environments.

Ecoglo will be exhibiting at IAVM Venue Connect in Phoenix next week.
We will be discussing a number of innovations leading with our Hybrid LED Exit Sign, the next generation internally illuminated exit sign with innovative electronics and superior energy storage technology.
Ecoglo has been innovating with products and services to aid emergency egress for over 25 years and we want to develop the best possible exit sign product to make it easier for facility managers to keep their buildings safe so please come and tell us what you think.
The Hybrid LED Exit Sign has been designed to assist facility managers to stay within ever tightening opex budgets by reducing whole of life costs and improving generator systems’ reliability. The superior backup technology and innovative electronics have reduced the electronic complexity and therefore lengthened the expected product life by a factor of 10.
Declare is a “nutrition label” for building products. It is designed to help architects and engineers to quickly identify products that meet their project requirements. Declare labels disclose all intentionally-added ingredients and residuals at or above 100ppm (0.01%).
The Declare label demonstrates alignment with other requirements within the Living Building Challenge and Core Green Building Certification, as well as LEED and WELL certifications.
Well done to Delwyn and the rest of the Ecoglo team involved in this project, I know it’s been a massive amount of work to gather all of the required details.
Ecoglo will be exhibiting at Facilities Integrate next week on Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 June. We’ll be featuring the Ecoglo Hybrid LED Exit Sign – the latest innovation to help facility operators to meet both budget and sustainability goals.

We’ll be showing our next generation Self-charging Hybrid LED Exit Sign at the VMA Asia-Pacific Venue Industry Congress. The show is being held in Sydney at the ICC Sydney from 30 May until 1 June.
We will also be discussing SA TS 5367:2021 published by Standards Australia. The new Technical Specification is designed to sit alongside the NCC documentation as an alternative deemed-to-satisfy solution, and to provide industry practitioners with an objective, detailed toolkit for achieving best practice. The 25-page SA TS 5367:2021 relates only to Hybrid PL Exit Signage, i.e. PL signs fitted with their own adjacent LED luminaires to keep panels ‘charged’.
